01 / THE FOUNDATION

A habit of following through.

Diyana began in the private sector, coordinating after-sales operations at an automotive dealership in Lomé. It was an education in systems, client accountability and the follow-through that turns a promise into a result.

A year volunteering at the Laura Vicuña School in Benin added another dimension. Supporting 647 secondary school students through activities, introductory IT and study supervision, she put the same discipline at the service of young people who needed consistent support.

02 / THE REGIONAL EXPERIENCE

Keeping complex programmes moving.

In 2014, she joined IFDC on the USAID West Africa Fertilizer Program, a $20 million regional initiative. Procurement, grants, financial reporting and donor compliance became part of her daily work, alongside coordinating people across institutional and language boundaries.

By June 2023, she had become Deputy Chief of Party for Operations on USAID EnGRAIS, helping lead a $24 million programme spanning 17 countries. Her work covered procurement, grant lifecycles, compliance and cross-country coordination, in both English and French.

03 / WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU

Experience you can put to work.

A business owner preparing for a regional exhibition needs the right arrangements and useful introductions. An investor reviewing a project needs clear questions, access to the site and a careful account of what was observed. Both need someone who follows through.

RAA brings this operational approach to opportunity discovery, participation support, investor visits and project visits on a client’s behalf. Agriculture is a natural starting point for Diyana’s experience; the ambition is to support relevant business opportunities across sectors and across Africa.
